The hospital
that notices.

EHMS runs the whole hospital on one record, from OPD to ICU and from pharmacy to payer. When a patient starts to slip, the right person hears about it while there is still time to act.

  • ABDM & ABHA ready
  • FHIR R4 · HL7 v2
  • Data stays in India

Example of the EHMS ward board: bed C-12 rises to a NEWS2 score of 7, the on-call doctor is paged and acknowledges in under three minutes, and the bed is marked reviewed with an hourly observation plan.

EHMS in four facts

  • 9 stepsfrom the gate to the ledgerEach step hands its work to the next one automatically.

The chart

One patient, one screen.

Vitals trend, today's plan and the medicine round sit together on the patient's chart, so nobody opens five systems to see how someone is doing.

Example of a patient chart in EHMS: a systolic blood pressure and heart rate trend over the last twelve readings, today's schedule with a ward round done and an echocardiogram next, and the medicine round with aspirin given and metoprolol due at 14:00. Sample data.

Facility types and specialty packs

A facility-type profile switches the modules, roles, wards and billing model to fit the place. Specialty packs add their own forms, scores and registers, and laboratory packs add disciplines from haematology to molecular diagnostics.

Portals for referrers, employers and partners

Referrer portal
Referring doctors see only the reports their patients chose to share with them.
Employer portal
Fitness outcomes for the employer; an employee's details only with that employee's consent.
Partner portal
Collection centres and franchises book tests, follow their reports and see their own ledger.
AI assistance

AI that drafts. Clinicians decide.

A separate AI service, built on LangGraph, drafts the paperwork. Nothing it writes is final until a person reviews it.

  • Scribe notes from the consultation
  • Discharge summaries
  • Nursing handover
  • Prior-authorisation evidence
  • Document extraction
  • A patient assistant
  • Identifiers are redacted before any outside model sees the text: Aadhaar, PAN, ABHA, phone numbers, MRNs and names, including names written in Indian scripts.
  • A last outbound check blocks the call if an identifier slipped through.
  • A policy gate per hospital: outside AI stays off until the hospital switches it on, limited to the providers and region it allows; otherwise the service uses its local fallback.
  • Scribe drafts are grounded in the transcript, and nothing an AI drafts counts until a clinician reviews it.
What's new · October 2026

Safer screens, clearer numbers.

This round rebuilt the pieces staff touch hundreds of times a shift: calendars, charts, the patient banner, forms and confirmations. Most cards below run the product's own components on made-up sample data, so you can try them here.

Built · release verification in progress

Trend dashboards

Hospital trends, the group dashboard and the command centre share one chart kit. Every chart names its unit, period (IST) and source, marks today as partial, shows a missing day as a gap rather than zero, and has a “Show as table” view. Colour is never the only cue.

Live component · sample data
Calendars

My calendar, plus a calendar on every schedule.

Appointments, teleconsults, theatre cases, shifts, on-call, leave and follow-ups in one personal calendar. Appointments, OT, rosters, dialysis chairs and more add a Calendar view beside their list.

Live component · sample data
Patient safety

The banner checks who it is before anything else.

Sex in words and date of birth beside age, every allergy in view with anaphylaxis marked critical, and a warning when another patient has the same or a similar name (restricted patients are counted, never named). Two people saving one record no longer overwrite each other, and corrections keep their history.

Banner drawn from the product · live conflict review · sample data
Forms

Forms that say what to fix.

Required fields carry a mark, every message names the field and what to type, and the button says what is still missing. The rules match what the server accepts.

Live component · sample data
Confirmations

Irreversible actions ask for a reason.

Destructive actions open an in-app confirmation instead of a browser pop-up, and the ones that cannot be undone ask for a typed reason first.

Live component · sample data
Sessions and networks

An expired session doesn't cost you the form.

When a session ends, staff sign in again on the same screen, with a password or the workstation PIN, and the save that was waiting goes through. If the network drops, a banner says so and since when.

Dashboard thresholds

Every target line names its source.

The numbers dashboards highlight by are hospital settings, each stored with a note of where it comes from. Until management confirms one, it says it is a default not yet confirmed; a line with no source is never drawn.

Accessibility

Built for keyboards, touch, high contrast and paper.

The shell and the kit carry the accessibility work, so every screen gets it.

  • “Skip to main content” is the first stop on every staff screen.
  • Calendars, charts, tabs and pickers have keyboard maps; after a page change, focus moves to its heading.
  • Touch screens get 44 px targets on buttons, tabs, menus and dialogs.
  • Windows high-contrast mode keeps card edges, focus rings and chart patterns.
  • Printing drops menus and bars and prints long tables in full, with the header on every page.

Keys the calendars and charts answer to:←→↑↓HomeEndEnterEsc

Applies to the staff app

Also in this round

  • List screens page on the server, 25 rows by default, with their filters kept in the link.
  • Theatre: fasting must be confirmed at the pre-anaesthetic check, and a case cannot be moved into the past.
  • Quality: whoever marks a corrective action done cannot also verify it.
  • Claims, denials and pre-authorisations follow the hospital you are working in; group roles can see them all.
  • A mistyped witness PIN is reported on the form instead of signing you out.
Patient journey

From the gate to the ledger.

Security & privacy

Built for the audit, not just the demo.

Patient data is the hospital's most sensitive asset. EHMS treats every read and every change as something you may one day have to explain.

  • Each organisation walled off

A row-level security policy in SQL Server keeps every organisation's records apart, even inside one shared database.

  • Tamper-evident audit

Every chart opened and every change is hash-chained, and the chain is anchored every night.

  • Break-glass, then review

Emergency access is one stated reason away. It is logged and reviewed by the privacy office within seven days.

  • Your directory, your rules

Single sign-on with your identity provider, two-factor sign-in and badge switching on shared workstations.

  • DPDP built in

Consent, data-subject requests, nominees and grievances are handled inside the product, with deadlines.

  • Data stays in India

Each hospital is pinned to an Azure region in India when it is onboarded.

Questions

Before you book a demo.

Short answers to what hospitals ask about data, standards, groups and price.

  • Where is our patients' data stored?

In India. Each hospital is pinned to an Azure region in India when it is onboarded, and a row-level security policy keeps every organisation's records apart, even inside one shared database.

  • Does EHMS work with ABDM and insurance claims?

Yes. The front desk scans the ABHA card at registration, and claims are built from the bill, scrubbed, coded and sent over NHCX. Payments are matched to the claim and short payments go to the denials queue.

  • Can one group run several hospitals on it?

Yes. Each hospital keeps its own profile, wards and settings, while the group works from a group dashboard, the transfer centre and the board pack. The Enterprise plan adds single sign-on.

  • Who can open a patient's chart?

The people whose role needs it. Every chart opened and every change is on a hash-chained audit trail; emergency break-glass access needs a stated reason and is reviewed by the privacy office within seven days.

  • How is EHMS priced?

Per doctor for clinics, per bed for hospitals and per facility for government and scheme hospitals. AI scribe minutes, SMS and WhatsApp are billed on what you use, and every plan includes the patient app.
